About Timber Realm
TimberRealm.com was created to showcase the turned wood art objects crafted by Richard Bento, of Kennebunk, Maine and Dunedin, Florida.
Bento has been creating finely turned wood vessels and other art objects for about five years from his home workshops in Maine and Florida. In that time, he has crafted his wooden bowls, hollow form vessels, urns and platters from the most beautiful woods of North America, South America and the Southern U.S.
Wood art objects are crafted from fine exotic materials, such as teak, cypress, cherry, mahogany, camphor, rosewood, birch, maple and Norfolk Island Pine. Pieces are also embellished with carvings, stone inlays and lacquered finishes.
As a student studying woodturning at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center in Dunedin, Florida, under Art Worth and Bob Anderson, he has achieved several prestigious awards in art shows for his work. For more information, contact Richard at; timberream207@gmail.com
